Internet commerce and electronic banking have become accepted as a normal way of conducting transactions for many people. There are now electronic giving tools available for parishes; ours is called Online Giving by Our Sunday Visitor. You now have the option to manage your contributions online. So, what are the advantages to both you and the parish by using Online Giving?
- You can use any of your checking or savings accounts without having to contact your bank to establish an Online Giving account.
- Credit card option allows you to take advantage of rewards such as air miles or cash bonuses
- You can make changes (start, stop, change) to your contributions at any time, see reports on your contribution history and generate tax statements at year end.
- You have the opportunity to make gifts to special collections in addition to regular, recurring offerings.
- Online Giving helps the parish streamline cash flow, especially during bad weather or vacation times.
Ready to get started? Here's how.
- Create an account
- Go to our Online Giving website by clicking here or by clicking the "Online Giving" at the top of the page and select a fund to donate a gift to by clicking "Give Now."
- Enter your gift amount, select your gift type and frequency, select a start date, and click continue.
- Enter your account information
- Enter your information, payment information, and payment method address.
- Then create a new password and click "Submit Your Gift."
- A confirmation email will then be sent to your inbox.
- You are now all set up to give!
- You can now sign in through this page to access your account to see upcoming and past gifts.

Parishioners can have weekly donation envelopes mailed to them monthly. These will include an envelope for the weekly offertory and any special collections for the month. Your donation of cash or check can then be placed in the offering basket. There is also a mail back envelope included if you prefer to mail your donation into the office.

Many parishioners use their own bank bill payment system to pay their monthly expenses. You can set up St. Brigid Parish as a payee through your own bank to make your weekly donation. When processing your donation make sure to note where you would like your donation to be applied, weekly offertory or a special collection.
