- Capuchin Ministries Volunteer of the Month
  St. Brigid Parishioner, Claudia Quigley, was named Volunteer of the Month in January 2026 for her work with the Capuchin Mobile Ministry.
- Bishop Cheverus Award
  
  On November 23,2025, St. Brigid parishioner, Terri Vincent was awarded the 2025 Bishop Cheverus Award by Archishop Richard Henning. The receipients are chosed for their service to the Church and God's People.
- Capuchin Ministries Volunteer of the Year
  
  In October 2025, Lauren Foohey, a St. Brigid parishioner, was chosen as the Volunteer of the Year. She was among those honored at the Annual Capuchin Gala.
Parishioners volunteering in our community
- Cor Unum Meal Center
  
  On Saturday, December 20th, 8 teens and 3 adults (including Fr. Joe!) served at the Cor Unum Meal Center in Lawrence. In case you are wondering, Cor Unum means "one heart". Cor Unum serves breakfast and dinner 365 days a year! Our group provided a “restaurant style” meal to people living on the street and/or otherwise just needing a healthy dinner. We prepared the dining room by setting tables and getting food ready for the guests. Once they arrived, we provided drinks, salad, dinner and desserts. After our guests left, we cleaned up the dining room and kitchen before heading off for some pizza in the area. This is a beautiful ministry that we hope to go to again.
